TrinityRail is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator, Sales to join our Customer Solutions Pricing team at our corporate offices in Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare proposals of lease and/or sale or railcars and related services.
  • Provide support to accomplish premier handling of communications with lease customers and the accurate and timely implementation of lease rental rate adjustments
  • Provide support as needed through the preparation and review of Terms & Conditions of Sale and monitor manufacturing schedule to ensure signature in advance of scheduled first car delivery
  • Prepare and negotiate amendments and documents ancillary to each of the above contract types
  • Manage multiple priorities, as well as financial and confidential matters with the utmost integrity and diplomacy
  • Resolve routine and complex inquiries
  • Collaborate with the following cross-functional teams:  Customer Solutions, Capital Markets, Credit & Compliance, Portfolio Management, Accounting/Finance, Fleet Operations and Customer Service

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of five years’ work experience with primary responsibility in the area of contract drafting and negotiation
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of contract administration
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong writing skills including the ability to express complex contract terms accurately and concisely
  • Highly organized and capable of managing high contract volume
  • Able to prioritize assignments and respond to deadlines
  • Able to communicate effectively across all organizational levels

These are the “nice to haves”—things that might cause a particular candidate to be more desirable or better qualified than another, but not essential to the role.  These can also be skills/experience that serve as a complement or balance to the existing team within the business unit.

  • Transactional paralegal experience or prior employment within a corporate legal or contract administration department
  • Finance background
  • Intermediate understanding of Insurance / Risk Management terms and concepts
  • Prior experience with SalesForce and a Document Lifecycle Management system
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (particularly Word and Excel)
