Sr. Specialist, Mobile Repair Operations

TrinityRail is searching for a Sr. Specialist, Mobile Repair Operations to work in our Dallas, Texas office!
This individual will lead mobile repair projects that include maintenance, repair and regulatory compliance of railcars specific within a given region of the country. This individual will work directly with Trinity’s mobile units to ensure cars meet quality, regulatory and customer standards.

What you'll do:
- Lead all aspects of the scheduling, progress, and invoicing of multiple mobile repair projects across North America
- Lead project planning sessions and pre-production meetings
- Coordinate staff and internal resources based on project scope of work and location of jobsites
- Provide detailed project reports to leadership and customers including financial spend and turn times
- Coordinate multiple ongoing projects, across multiple customers, to meet or exceed customer required schedules
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Handle all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Prepare detailed quotes to customers based on project scope of work for approval
- Organize and schedule projects based on customer expectations
- Create BRCs for completed work and process invoices
- Manage costs to complete projects based on business financial budget
What you'll need:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years of railcar repair experience writing BRC estimates and mobile repair experience required
- Deep knowledge of AAR/FRA rules and regulations pertaining to railcar repair/fabrication, maintenance/design, and applicable standards
- Training and/or knowledge in Hazmat, Welding, Railcar Inspection/Repair, NDE Methodologies, and railcar repair safety
- Customer-focused, excellent relationship building skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records
- Ability to interface effectively with shop personnel and customers
- Experienced with Microsoft office applications including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
