Sr. Salesforce Developer
Trinity Industries is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to assist our team in developing new functionality in our Salesforce Sales, Service and CPQ clouds. This role is responsible for designing, developing, unit testing and integrating systems to support our TrinityRail Leasing, Management Services and Commercial groups.
What you'll do:
- Design, configure and code Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Salesforce Communities applications
- Agile team member involved in all phases of the SDLC process including Design, Development, Unit testing, Deployment & Production support (agile/iterative/waterfall experience required)
- Force.com site development using Apex, Visual force, jQuery, Lightning Web Components.
- Interact with various business team members to gather the requirements and documented the requirements
- Develop applications in accordance with TrinityRail SDLC methodology, industry best practices and departmental policies and standards
- Analyze business and functional requirements in order to collaborate with business owners, business analysts and management to propose technical solutions
- Transform business requirements into actionable technical specifications and estimate the level of effort
- Develop software that will support high transaction volumes with defined Service Level Agreements
- Design and create clean, efficient and maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests
- Create and execute Salesforce Test Cases
- Assist with production related issues as needed
What you'll do:
- Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience (Salesforce.com Platform & APIs)
- 2+ years of Experience developing Custom Lightning Web Components
- 5+ years VisualForce, Apex Classes/Controllers and Apex Trigger development experience
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
- Excellent communication and people skills. You must be comfortable participating in business and technical conversations with the technology team and product owners
- Passion for designing and developing high quality solutions on the SFDC platform using Salesforce best practices
- Ability to understand the business and implement solutions that meet business requirements
- Experience Integrating Salesforce with other systems
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology

- Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Communities and Salesforce CPQ
- 5+ years of software development experience using an Object Oriented Language (C#, Java)
- Mulesoft Integration Experience
