Trinity Industries Capital Markets and Structure Finance teams are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team of 20 dynamic, hardworking rail financing professionals.  While managing the calendars, meetings, and travel itineraries of the team’s leadership, you’ll have the regular responsibilities related to orders for certain new railcars and to our railcar financings.  We are looking for someone who understands or is willing to learn about our business as well as contribute to the success of the team.

What you’ll do:

  • Calendaring, travel and expense reporting for the SVP-Capital Markets, the SVP-Risk & Portfolio Management and at least two other professionals
  • Customer order support including correspondence, tracking reports, compiling documentation, and researching issues
  • Assist the Capital Markets team with servicing the financings such as maintaining compliance calendars, correspondence, gathering legal documents, and legal document organization
  • General personnel support such as new employee on-boarding, organization of team events, arranging certain board meetings (meeting space, food and transportation) and other supportive tasks as needed
  • Take initiative, ask questions, keep us organized, and complete assignments timely and accurately

 

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education/specialized training/certifications
  • 3-5 years Administrative Assistant or general office experience
  • Expertise with MS Office: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally and effectively present information and interact with all levels of the organization especially senior executives from within the organization and from external parties
  • High attention to detail
  • Nice to have: Experience manipulating data in Excel or other products, general knowledge of finance or accounting, and experience in Salesforce
