TrinityRail is searching for an NDT Program Manager at our Dallas, Texas offices.  This key role will work primarily with our Trinity Rail Production & Maintenance Services facilities to accomplish the following:

What You’ll Do: 

  • Provide expertise knowledge and support over Non-Destructive Testing methods and techniques.
  • Provide technical training and technical evaluations to candidate or certified Non-Destructive Testing employees at various facilities.
  • Understand research and recommend advanced Non-Destructive Testing equipment, training methods and advancing technology.
  • Develop, qualify and approve procedures
  • Establish and approve techniques
  • Interpret codes, Standards, Specifications, and Procedures
  • Designate the particular NDT methods, techniques, and procedures to be used
  • Attend appropriate industry related professional society meetings and functions in order to remain informed of and make good use of new technology, products and personal development opportunities

 

 

  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4-year college degree in related field or related experience
  • 12+ Years experience at advanced level
  • Proficient with computers and various operations related applications
  • Practical experience in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology to establish techniques and to assist in establishing acceptance criteria
  • ASNT-TC-1A Certifications as follows (more than one preferred):

Level II or III Liquid Penetrant Test Method (PT)

Level II or III Radiography Test Method (RT)

Level II or III Ultrasonic Test Method (UT)

Level II or III Visual Test Method (VT)

Level II or III Leak Testing (LT)
