Trinity Highway Rentals, Inc. is hiring a Delivery Driver in our Delray Beach, FL office
Shift: 7:00AM – 3:30PM
What you'll do:
- Receive, store and ship materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures
- Pull, package, stage and load outgoing shipments
- Unload, unpack and inspect incoming shipments and locate in designated area
- Safely operate appropriate equipment for movement of materials
- Ensure the efficiency of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation and records
- Ensure accurate identification of parts and materials
- Maintain an inventory of product, inspects, cleans and tests for wear or defects, and repairs as needed
- May paint and or stencil product for identification and marketing
- Conduct testing and repair of various equipment
- Delivers and sets-up product per work order
- Loads, secures and unloads cargo
- Maintains radio or telephone contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up
- Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations
- May be responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation
What you'll need:
- One year of related experience
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred but not required
- Experience driving a flatbed truck preferred
- Experience with city driving a plus
- Must have a satisfactory driving record
- Experience operating forklift and small hand tools
- Ability to follow all company safety rules, procedures and applicable governmental regulations
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
