TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Career Heavy Assembly in our Cartersville GA Location. What You'll Do:
- Assemble fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies or complete units.
- May set up jigs and fixtures.
- Lay out reference points, positions, aligns, and fit together fabricated parts of metal or fiberglass mold according to blueprint and layout specifications fabrication.
- May fabricate parts as required.
- Use hand tools, portable tools, hoists and cranes to move materials, parts and assemblies.
- Follow all safety rules and practices.
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Install Mechanical fastening (bolts, nuts, hucks)
- Apply appropriate torque sequence and values (certified)
- Reads blueprints
- Operates overhead cranes
- May use hand tools to bend or form parts
- Tack Welds
What You'll Need:
- 1-2 years of practical mechanical/industrial assembly experience preferred
- Must be able to work first shift hours 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday and all required overtime to include weekends if neccessary.
